Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 23 August 2026
This policy sets out what's not allowed on FairlyCart, for both customers and stores. It applies alongside our Terms of Service and Vendor agreement.
For everyone using FairlyCart
You must not:
- Provide false, misleading or someone else's identity, contact or payment information.
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to FairlyCart's systems, other users' accounts, or store dashboards.
- Scrape, harvest or bulk-extract data from the site other than through features we provide.
- Use FairlyCart to harass, threaten or abuse another customer, a store, a delivery contact, or our team.
- Misuse promotional codes or offers — see our Promotions & coupon terms.
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes someone else's intellectual property or other rights.
Prohibited products
Stores may not list, and FairlyCart will not knowingly facilitate the sale of:
- Alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes/vapes, or other age-restricted products, unless and until FairlyCart introduces age-verification and licensing support for that category.
- Prescription or pharmacy-only medicines, or other products requiring a licence the store does not hold.
- Recalled, expired, counterfeit, stolen or unsafe products.
- Weapons, illegal substances, or any product prohibited under Australian law.
- Products that are inaccurately described, mislabelled, or missing legally required allergen or nutrition information.
What happens if this policy is breached
We may warn, suspend or remove a listing, order, account or store from FairlyCart for a breach of this policy, and may report unlawful conduct to the relevant authorities. This is in addition to any other rights we have under our Terms of Service or Vendor agreement.
